WâÇx Decorative architectural trowel-on coating for interiors, with stunning metallic GENERAL FEATURES Dune is a decorative coating for interiors with soft metallic charges that creates high end visual effects and a stunning game of lights and shades. USES Dune creates velvet-like, chromatic effects that are perfectly matching the modern concept of high end decoration of interior walls in modern environments. IDENTIFICATION FEATURES Binder nature: water-based acrylic polymer Density: Dune Base Silver: 1,10 +/- 0,05 g/ml Dune Gold 8600: 1,10 +/- 0,05 g/ml PERFORMANCES The application of Dune is simple and practical and allows to easily achieve high-quality visual and tactile effects to both, professional applicator and private unprofessional customers. Due to its high versatility, Dune can be applied using different tools and permits to achieve many different shades, textures and customized effects. DILUTION Novaprimer: 50-80% with water Dune: ready for use with trowel application, or diluted with max 20% of water in case of application with a roller Clear Coat: if applied in two coats, dilute the first coat with 20% of water max. and the second coat with 5% of water max. If applied in one coat, ready for use or diluted with maximum 5% of water. WARNING Mix the product properly before coloration and application.

SUBASTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION The substrate must be perfectly smooth, dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In case of non-homogeneous surfaces and/or with different absorption rates, apply one coat of Novaprimer with roller (see ‘Dilution’). After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply one coat of Dune, non-diluted with stainless steel trowel, or diluted with 20% of water with a short hair roller. After at least 8 hours (T=25°C, UR=60%), apply with stainless steel trowel a second coat of Dune, covering the entire surface and using a bit more material. Before it dries out, work into the surface with a stainless steel or plastic trowel compressing gently the surface with circular strokes according to the desired effect. Drying time: in stable atmospheric conditions (T=25°C, UR=60%), 24 hours approx. depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate. Wherever a high wash ability should be needed, it is advisable the application, with a thin roller, of one or more coats of Clear Coat (see Technical Data Sheet). RECOMMENDATIONS The material must be applied protected from cold and high heat changes during the entire application. Do not apply with air, support and products temperature lower than +5°C or higher than +35°C, nor under direct sun light, nor under superheated surfaces (even if already in shadow). It is advisable to complete each project with materials from the same batch of production.

SHELF LIFE The packaged product is guaranteed for 24 months, if stored in the original sealed package and at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.

SECURITY PROCEDURES EU Directive 2004/42/CE: Dune (decorative paint) EU limit values for Dune (cat A/l): 200 g/l (2010) Dune contains maximum 45 g/l of VOC.

The product does not require the label as per the D.L. 65 dated 14/03/03 and following corrections. Use the products as per the security and hygiene procedures rules. Dispose of the empty packaging remaining material in compliance with local laws. Keep the product away from children usage and in an airy place. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water. In case of ingestion of the products, consult immediately a doctor showing him the can or the label of the product. Do not leave wastes in drains, water courses and on the ground. For further information consult the safety data sheet.
