Greening Forward• Supports environmental initiatives – Mini-grants ($100-500)– Social activism training (i.e. webinars,

conferences, and written guides on topics such as development, communications, and partnerships)

– Earth Saver Award– National Network

About Partnerships• What is a partnership?

Partnerships can…– Accomplish more• Two is better than one

– Lead to more• i.e. Earth Savers first helped the Amigos

for Christ office establish a workplace recycling program. Now they invite us to be the Green Sponsor of their music festival

Listening can…– Improve your program • Are you serving an effective role?

Networking can…– Open Doors• Telling people about your cause helps you

find new volunteers, partners, and donors

the word about your message. Make your social networking platforms engaging for your audience.

1. Where did stickgirl go wrong?a. Never allowed a point in her Earth

Savers Club meetings for agenda suggestions.

b. Asked her best friends to join her in her campaigns.

c. Rewarded her volunteers with doughnuts instead of a healthy alternative like apples.

d. Chose Justin Beiber music for her dance-a-than fundraiser.

e. She is trying to master her elevator pitch, but is not quite there.
