(Sarah)Write the hypothesis of your documentary.
By sacrificing something small such as your time in volunteering or donating as anindividual you can help ease the issue of poverty, locally, nationally, and globally.
(Alexus) Explain what you hope to achieve and/or impact through this documentary. We hope that the audience feels like they now realize what people go through in poverty
and that it is not always their fault, and that they want to make a real difference by doingsmall things like volunteering, donating money to local organization, ect.
(Seth) Explain the topic of your documentary. Be specific and clear what you are going to focusonList and explain the potential sub-topics you will cover in your documentary.
Causes of why families become in these situations. Statics on families in poverty
(Seth) Subtopics:1. Family stand point - By interviewing or finding statistics of families that went through
poverty.
2. Way you can help - By either donating or volunteering your time to show support for
people in poverty.
3. Why they are in poverty - Show the causes and effects of people in poverty and how they
got into poverty.
(Gabby) List the main people and groups you will be covering in your documentary. Write a brief

Deals with volunteering could possibly ask her how many people volunteer yearly, and what is the
most commonly way people help out.

For local connections we plan to look at how many local families affected by poverty
we are going to look more at the organization to get our information because families will
not be willing to talk about it
Talk to the runners of HACAP, see if they need help on anything. (volunteer hours). Talk to the owner of The Cedar House Shelter(how many stay a night, what the half way
house helps, any activities they do? Helping them get jobs and get on their feet or just aplace to crash?
Showing statistics on the amount of families in the local area that are involved in poverty. Interviewing salvation army(Show how many come and stay.) Per night and annually.

(e.g. We are going to create a documentary to inform poverty and we are going to
use multiple sources).

(e.g. Why other people methods are failing and how to fix it).

(e.g.The effect if given money to people in poverty, like what can be purchased,how long it lasts, etc.).

current situations of poverty (status quo)

world, bringing in the global connection.
(Bradley)List the needs you have to make this documentary successful. Consider all things youwill need from information to technology to people and so on.
Area that supports homeless people for information on local people going through poverty,
someone who deals with people in poverty, statistics on what the main cause of poverty is,
statistics on how many people are in poverty (locally, nationally, and internationally), number of
people that cannot feed themselves, a video camera(School Cameras), an editing program, and
an impoverished citizen to talk to if we get the chance to talk to one.

How many families are living pay check to pay check and are one pay check away from going into
poverty.
How are we going change peoples viewpoint on people in poverty that may take advantages of things that
people give them to help.
