The MWD is an easy-to-use, handwheel-operated twin-columntest stand, with a maximum capacity of 10kN (2200lbf).Operation is via a handwheel, giving excellent positional controlof the crosshead for applications which require a load reading tobe taken at an exact displacement. Combined with a Mecmesinloadcell and display or a digital force gauge, the MWD is a low-cost solution to a variety of higher-rated tension andcompression testing applications.
Unlike other 10kN test stands, the MWD occupies minimal benchspace and due to it’s simple, compact design it can be used as aportable unit for off-site testing.
