It is hard to believe we are celebrating our 16th year. What started in my basement in Indianapolis, IN with

just a few accounts has now grown into a publishing powerhouse. We are now one of the largest calendar

publishers in the world, printing millions of calendars each year. Last year was our best year ever and this

year is shaping up to be even better. We are blessed and we are thankful.

How are we growing in this category?

• Our People: I know it’s common for business leaders to say it is all about the people. Well, it’s true.

The “TF,” as we refer to ourselves, is comprised of a great group of experienced people. We are an

honest, hard-working, family-focused and fun group. We know how to create successful programs

and we strive to perform better than anyone else in the industry.

• Our Programs: We recognize that not all stores have the same traffic and a successful program is

a simple program. We typically develop three different-size displays that all arrive pre-loaded.

Stores simply remove the shroud and the program is “floor-ready.” Buyers and store managers

enjoy working with us because we do all the work. We make it simple to drive sales, drive GM

dollars, and exceed the expectations of our retail partners.

• Our Products: Our successful programs allow us to continue expanding our product offering.

In 2011, our box calendar line increased from 12 to 26 titles. We have expanded our planner line

to include leather weekly/monthly planners, monthly poly-planners and book engagements

that provide extra pages each week for notes, To Do lists and weekly shopping lists. This book

engagement format was very well received last year and was one of the many products that helped

our retailers grow.

• Our Philosophy: As American author John Maxwell stated: “People don’t care how much you know

until they know how much you care.” That is the philosophy by which we operate each day. We hope

you know we care. We care about you, your satisfaction with our products, how we interact with

you, and your total experience with TF Publishing. We also care about our community. We make

it a goal to give back through community service projects and charitable donations. Last but not

least, we care about the environment and take pride in being an environmentally friendly company.

Our wind turbine, recycling efforts, and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved papers and

suppliers are ways TF Publishing works towards being a sustainable business.

• Paper: Our company uses products carrying the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) label; they are independently certified as coming from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

• Inks: All of our products use environmentally safe inks that are audited by a third party company to ensure their environmental safety.

• Corrugate Displays: Our suppliers are certified by both the Sustainable Forest Initiative and the FSC. 65% of the paper for our displays comes from post-consumer waste.

• Building: The company’s wind turbine powers our sales/design/logistics facility with renewable energy.

• Recycling: Our company has initiated a first of its kind (for Indianapolis) recycling program for our own use and for the rest of the business park.
