Thank you for your interest in Habitat for Humanity. Habitat currently has two homeownership opportunities available in our Phoenix Place community in Chapel Hill.

The homes are located at 211 Lizzie Lane and 113 Phoenix Drive, Chapel Hill. Both homes have 3 bedrooms and 1 ½ bathrooms, and are prefect for a family looking for a family-friendly neighborhood with plenty of green space. The neighborhood is near I-40, MLK Blvd., shopping areas, and is in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro school district.

Unlike typical Habitat homes, we will not provide the primary financing for this home. You must obtain financing from a bank or credit union. Applicants will be required to obtain a mortgage pre-approval letter for $175,000, which is the appraised value of both houses. This letter must be submitted with your application. Applicants will also be required to attend an 8-hour Homebuyer Education class. Applicants must live or work in Orange County and must earn less than 80% or the area median income (AMI).
