Drawing on customs of old, and in the tradition of the Caravanserai, Saray Spa offers a personal experience of restoration and renewal through rituals that have withstood the test of time. Ancient healing techniques and locally sourced natural ingredients are combined to pay homage to history and offer an oasis of calm within the modern city of Dubai.

Saray Spa is part of over 4,300 sq meters (approximately 46,000 sq ft) of wellness facilities that span the entire third floor of both towers at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. The Spa features 17 treatment rooms, men’s and women’s Hammams, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, saunas, additional hydro-facilities and spacious relaxation areas.

The 17 treatment rooms are inclusive of two private Hammam rooms, two Thai treatment rooms, one Dead Sea treatment room boasting its own Dead Sea Floatation Pool found within, and two Private Luxury Spa Suites: Spas within a Spa, each providing its own hydro-soak tub, steam room, private wash and changing rooms, relaxation centre, and side by side treatment tables.

ARABIAN NIGHTS 120 minsA Spa Journey worthy of a magical tale. This unique ceremony begins in an exotically scented room where sweet florals and herbs are massaged into the skin to nourish and exfoliate. Next you will enter a therapeutic Rose infused milk bath to further cleanse and unwind. As you step from the bath a massage table is prepared for you to apply an enchanting blend of Sandalwood, Sweet Almond and Fragrant Florals to both the hair and the body.

HAMMAM RITUALSAfter months and miles of weary travel these traditional cleansing ceremonies, designed to assist in physical and spiritual purification, were performed in the heart of the Hammam located within the Caravanserai. Known throughout North Africa, all across Anatolia and Persia, and scattered down across the roads of travel and trade - these singular treatments were highly sought after and long looked forward to. All treatments incorporate heat and steam, an authentic Olive Oil based soap, a vigorous body scrub and a skin nourishing product applied to fresh new skin. Select Hammam treatments will also include a full body mask of mud or clay mixed with healing botanicals.

THE SARAY GOLDEN HAMMAM 120 minsParticipate in a luxury Hammam treatment worthy of a Sheikh or Sheikha. Enjoy a powerful combination of the traditional Hammam and precious Gold which has been used since ancient times for its mystical powers of rejuvenation and healing. Relax and let the herbal scented black soap purify your body and clear your senses. RESERVATIONS Advance reservations of at least 24 hours are encouraged. Walk-ins are always welcome but are subject to availability. Group bookings should try to schedule with as much advance notice as possible and special spa parties can only be arranged and held with a credit card. Please be sure of your schedule when securing a reservation and make sure you are aware of the cancellation policy to avoid unnecessary charges.

COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATIONSSaray Spa holds a very high standard for their associates and do not employ therapists who are new to the wellness industry. Each of the certified professionals have years of experience and unique specialties particular to their training and culture. The therapists are available for complimentary 15 minute consultations to assist in booking the right service for your needs. Therapists can assist in educating on beneficial wellness practices and the therapeutic benefits of offered treatments. However, they are not doctors and will direct you to consult a physician or appropriate specialist for questions regarding diagnostics or medical concerns.

ARRIVALSAll guests will be asked to fill out a consultation form. Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your treatment to ensure that this does not cut into the treatment time. Arrival times up to 1 hour before treatments are acceptable to allow guests to enjoy the facilities and the relaxing surroundings. Guests who are late for their services will still be charged for the full service reserved but may not be guaranteed the full treatment time.

SPA ATTIREYou may arrive in whatever attire you wish as you will be given your own robe and slippers to wear around the Spa. Disposable undergarments are provided and required when using the shared spa facilities. If you wish to use the Jacuzzi you must bring your own swimwear. Undergarments are optional to wear during the treatment as the therapist will always respect the privacy of the guest by maintaining modesty and only exposing the areas of the body being worked on at that time. All treatment rooms have their own private changing rooms and lockers can also be provided in a shared spa changing area. Saray Spa and the hotel will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any jewelry or other personal items brought with you to the Spa.

SPA ETIQUETTEThe Spa is recognised as a sanctuary of peace and tranquility where guests can come to relax and escape from the cares of everyday concerns. As a guest we invite you to enjoy this environment but also to assist us in maintaining the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We kindly ask you to speak in a soft voice and also turn off all mobile and electronic devices. We also ask that you refrain from taking pictures once inside the private men’s and women’s spa areas. When using the shared steam room and hydro facilities please wear the disposable undergarments provided. Swimwear should be worn when using the Jacuzzis.

SPA HOURS Spa opening hours are daily from 9am to 11pm. Last bookings are done so that treatments will end by 10:45pm. Guests staying to use the facilities and relaxation areas after any appointments may also do so until 10:45pm.

SPA RETAILThe Saray Spa retail boutique hours are daily from 9am to 11pm. Retail offerings are a unique mix of luxury and healing skincare products, home fragrances and décor, artisan tea offerings, and hand made Moroccan and regional gifts. The Spa also carries a broad selection of therapeutic grade Essential Oils and authentic Attars, some of which are extremely rare and hard to find. We are happy to assist you with finding that perfect one of a kind gift or product suitable for your needs.

CANCELLATIONSAll reservations cancelled within 6 hours of booking are subject to a 50% cancellation charge. If you are booking within this cancellation window please be aware of your schedule and ensure that you are able to keep the appointment. Group bookings of 5 or more people must be cancelled within 48 hours. All no-show appointments will be charged in full.

ACCESSIBILITYSaray Spa is available to all hotel guests and area locals who are of 16 years of age or older. The Fitness Centre and outdoor pool may only be accessed by in-house guests or club members. Spa amenities and facilities may only be accessed by spa patrons who are receiving spa treatments. A daily spa facilities charge may be charged to the room for in-house guests wishing to use the Spa amenities but not interested in treatments. Individuals who are pregnant, have disabilities, allergies, or any health concerns are still welcome to use the Spa but should notify the reception upon booking so that the appropriate therapist and service can be recommended.

FOOD AND ALCOHOL CONSUMPTIONComplementary Tchaba tea service and light snacks are provided for all spa guests in the relaxation areas. For special group visits and full or half day bookings, spa lunches can be arranged. It is advisable to drink plenty of water before and after treatments and especially to stay well hydrated when using heated and hydro-facilities. Alcohol consumption is not recommended before or after treatments and is also prohibited in all Spa and Fitness areas. No Smoking is allowed.

GIFT VOUCHERSSaray Spa gift vouchers are available for purchase for any specific amount or treatment requested. Gift vouchers can not be purchased with a discount.
