Cougars cant roar but they do purr. They can run 43 mph and can jump 20 ft

from a stand still. Out of twenty sub-species only three of

them are endangered. {Florida panther, Costa Rican puma, and the Eastern puma

A few things about Cougars.

The cougars range from North, Central, and South America

They like rough land like the mountains swamps and places like that.

Size= Cougars size and weight varies from sub species to sub species.

The American cougar can get up to eight feet long and weigh 150 pounds.

Cougars have black tipped ears Their fur is a tan color which helps

camouflage them when they are hunting.

How to recognize a Cougar.

Their diet consist of large animals like deer, elk they sometimes go for smaller game like squirrels, rabbits, mice

groups. Cougars only come out around dawn and

dusk.
