The features and properties of the Aluminum allow it to have a large range of applications: Molding (Blow, Full Plastic, Vacuum Forming), Shipbui ld ing, Furni ture and Automotive Components.

Alloy 2011, with HB hardness between 90-120HB, is commonly used on high speed automatic lathes and automotive industries.

Presents an excellent machinability and high atmospheric corrosion resistance, it is the most dense aluminum alloy (2,83 g/cm³).

Aluminum 2011 present many advantages compared to the other alloys:

- Easy machinability with almost any equipment;- Low deterioration, with a higher lifespan;- High mechanical properties;- Allow colored anodizing on final products as screws and threaded rods.- Under T6 temper, has a good plastic formability both on cold and heat treatments.

Alloy 5052Alloy 5052 has a good machinability and excellent stability, with Brinell hardness between 45-70 HB (specific for each temper and size), has been highly used on small productions.

It's AlMg2,5 Alloy is ductile when annealed, and gets harder quickly in cold treatment, presents high corrosion resistance under water.The main applications for this alloy are: Trucks and Buses bodies, traffic signs, vessel industries, shutters, railcars, stamped pieces and construction.

It has a density of 2,68 g/cm³, high mechanical resistance to corrosion and good machinability / formability.Provided in Plates, Sheets and Coils, Alumicopper can offer this material cut to size, minimum thickness range at 3mm.

Alloy 5083Alloy 5083 has an excellent machinability and stability, with a hardness between 75-95 HB (specific to each temper and size), have been commonly used in small productions.

Aluminum 5083 contain from 4 to 5% of Chromium and Manganese, presenting the best features of all 5xxx series Aluminum alloys. It ensures a good weldability and an interesting resistance, especially under water, it is very used in shipbuilding and on footwear industry.

With a density of 2,66 g/cm³, being a third lighter than Steel, provide less wear to the equipment. Besides, it has a thermal conductivity of 130 W/min 0ºC (4 times higher than the Carbon Steel).Provided in Plates, Sheets and Coils, Alumicopper can offer this material cut to size, minimum thickness range at 3mm.

Alloy 6061Alloy 6061 presents good mechanical properties and machinability, along with an excellent resistance to both atmospheric and oceanic corrosion.

It accepts both protective and decorative anodizing processes.

Largely used on rail components, defence equipments, on the aviation industry and transport segments on general.

It is commonly used in the automotive industry as well, on small structures such as bumpers and brakes.

Alloy 7021 – Cast C330R

The C330R is a cast aluminum alloy, cut and heat treated, solubilized, cooled and precipitated, of an exceptional quality for manufacturing thermoplastic injection molds, molds for deep drawing in the plastic industry, foam molding and blow molding at low pressure, automatic tool changer, storage, and support blocks resistants to strong impacts.

The AlZn5,5Mg1,5 alloy production limits are 480x1610x3540mm, customized sizes available under specific requests.

The most valuable properties are: low internal tension, good form stability and high resistance.

Cast C330R has excellent mechanical properties, allowing you to enlarge your application range, another advantage is the reduction of machine adjustments due to its remarkable dimensional stability.

Alloy 7075

Alloy 7075 presents the best machinability, stability and corrosion resistance, with a higher brinell hardness and low deterioration of equipment, its machining process is 4-8 times faster, allowing you to quickly manufacture molds with low weight.

Comparing to the other alloys, it is not just economic, hard, weldable, recyclable and corrosion resistant, it also provides unparallel benefits such as allowing a quick and easy way of cutting, turning, drilling, polishing and surface treating.

Aluminum 7075 became a reference for molding and plastic industries, attending also to the military, the automotive and the robotics industries.
