Grace Episcopal Church was founded in 1851 on its current site on South McDuffie Street in Anderson. The current Main Worship Building dates from 1903. The majority of the other church buildings are at least 50 years old.

While building projects since 2000 have resulted in a new organ, sacristy and cloister, many of the Church buildings have remained untouched for years and are in need of restoration, renovation and additions.

The Good Shepherd CampaignComplete Restoration of Stained Glass Windows

The Good Shepherd windows (3) circa 1851 behind the altar were saved from the original Church that burned in 1890. The Gadsden window and the back and side windows were purchased for the new building in 1904. All the windows are treasures of our historical church building and are in dire need of restoration.

Cost: $300,000

Expansion of Functional Space

A larger nursery, a wider hall and restrooms, visitor accessible parlor and kitchenette accessible to the church and addresses the repairs to the roof and heating/air conditioning system and storage. Convert current parlor to two large meeting/classrooms. This prepares for other building plan in the future which includes restoration of the parish hall back to its full size and expands current kitchen back to the current parlor.

Cost: $607,305.00
