March 18th, 2006: I volunteered to help out running the Literary Competition. In helping,

individuals would time certain events, serve food to the judges, & deliver results. I’ve volunteered

with State Literary ever since my Sophomore Year of High School, so I pretty much knew what

was expected of my services.

Literary Competition announced results. Barnett realized we were trying to take a pic without him

knowing and decided to pose for the camera.

Me and Amber acting goofy as usual. Every year, Barnett gives us shirts from the competition, and every time, the shirt is always an XL. Trying to

see if it was possible, Amber and I decided to see if the shirt would fit both of us. Surprisingly, the shirt did.

I worked as a busboy and cleared dish off tables and wiped them down. Occasionally, I’d help serve food and

drinks. It wasn’t as busy as we’d expected (a lot of people took the food to go), so most of the time we’d socialize or

make up new dances like the pancake dance!
