i) Relevant LEA Staff – in raising awareness of available tenders, this document may be of assistance in planning and delivery of
business advisory services. ii) LEA SMMEs – in raising awareness of available tenders, this document may be of assistance in alerting
LEA SMMEs on valuable procurement opportunities.
2. How to use this document:
The information contained in this document is a summary of available tenders as presented in various print media. The information is intended to raise
awareness of possible procurement opportunities for different LEA SMMEs. To make the best use of this information, readers/users are advised to:
i) Obtain personal copies from LEA Branch Resource Centre so that clients can take their time reading on their own.
(Subject to Resource Centre printing fees)
ii) Where possible look for tender adverts in the said newspapers to read the entire advertisement and understand it better.
iii) Contact authorities of the concerned department/ organization and make enquiries on the advert and ask for more
information.
iv) Consult with the business advisor/market analyst about the advert and seek advice on bidding as an individual
enterprise or in collaboration with fellow SMMEs.
v) Be sure to read all the weekly editions provided by the LEA, and provide necessary feedback for the improvement of the
document.
