• We aggregate streaming content from around the globe – we even aggregate other aggregators, meaning that we carry over 35,000 stations and podcasts

• We secure the appropriate rights for the content and apply multiple levels of security to prevent rip-offs

• We apply high levels of intelligence and value add, and provide a one-stop shop for the businesses who aspire to enter the digital media arena

• Our clients are able to deliver superior structured content, branded to their own needs and supported by our advertising engine to their customers (end users)

The revenue model

There are essentially two revenue models that are prevalent in the industry – subscription and advertising.

Subscription services offer a service for a set monthly fee. However, consumers are becoming increasingly reluctant to pay for subscription services that carry advertising content, but accept advertising on any services that are provided free of charge.

In essence, the market is dictating that content providers make a choice – to bill them or to raise revenue through advertising – not both.

Our revenue depends of the latter model. We rely on free distribution and sharing the growing income through advertising revenue with our media partners and the rights holders.

The advertising opportunity is significant

The advertising opportunity in this new media model is significant for the following reasons:

• The breadth and depth of distribution The miRoamer API allows for distribution to a wide range of devices – clearly extending our reach.

• Customised content The high level of customisation means that the end-user gets the content that they want, when they want it. This increases the time spent “online” and enhances the value of advertising

• Rich media Delivery of content is no longer limited to audio bites – advertising on most media we deliver to can include video and even “touch to respond” opportunities

• Our advertising engine Our advertising engine allows for analysis of user trends through direct feedback of selections and choices (such as selection of favourites). In many cases we are also able to track the user by GPS, facilitating geographically focussed advertising opportunities.

Other revenue opportunities

Our API has extensive capabilities. Most significant of these from a revenue perspective is the ability to link content to paid download services such as iTunes.
