01 The ergonomic cockpit impresses with its clear and straightforward design. At the heart of the design is the centre console tilted towards the driver, with an elegant glass cover over the “Discover Pro” radio navigation system standard on R-Line.

02-03 The spacious dimensions in the new Tiguan Allspace provide plenty of legroom, even in the second row of seats. Extra long legs or a bulky bit of luggage? The second row of seats can be adjusted by pushing the seats forward, split asymmetrically and folded for added flexibility. Added comfort is provided by the folding centre armrest with two built-in drinks holders.

04-05 The standard third row of seats has space for two further passengers. These seats can be folded down, either completely or in parts, increasing the size of the load compartment accordingly. As a result, the new Tiguan Allspace is even more versatile: a genuine all-rounder.

Freedom of movement.

08 Gesture Control makes operating the “Discover Pro” radio navigation system even easier. It enables you to move through the main menu and all the various sub-menus – with total ease using a single swiping gesture. For instance, with one hand movement, you can move from station to station, from song to song and photo to photo.

The “Discover Pro” radio navigation system is the Infotainment system for the tech-savvy driver. A real eye-catcher: the chic glass cover, the 23.4 cm (9.2 inch) touchscreen, which both looks and feels like a top-of-the-range tablet. Standard on R-Line.

10 The Discover Media Navigation system adds navigational functionality to the ‘Composition Media’ system, providing branded points of interest, preloaded navigation data, Speed Limit Display and three routes (Fast, Short and Eco), 2D/3D map view and voice control. Standard on 4MOTION models.

11 Enhance your cockpit: with App-Connect^1, you can operate many of your personal smartphone apps safely and conveniently on the Infotainment system touchscreen in the centre console. Driver assistance systems.Wherever your plans may take you: The assistance systems in the new Tiguan Allspace make

day-to-day life on the move even easier, leaving you calm and confident behind the wheel.

13 The Area View Camera supports the driver when exiting concealed exits or side streets, when entering or driving out of parking spaces. It generates a 360 degree surround view on the touchscreen and provides a bird’s eye view.

14 The standard “Front Assist” incorporates City Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring, which enables the system to respond to stationary vehicles at speeds up to 30 km/h and detect pedestrians at speeds up to 60 km/h.

15 Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), including Front Assist radar sensor controlled distance monitoring system, City emergency braking system, cruise control and speed limiter offers you intelligent control of your driving speed by automatically adjusting acceleration and braking. Standard from Highline onwards.

In a medical emergency or in the event of the driver’s inactivity, “Emergency Assist” automatically controls some functions of the vehicle with the aim of avoiding accidents or minimising their consequences. Standard from Highline onwards.

Traffic Jam Assist guarantees a completely new level of driving convenience in traffic jams by linking “Lane Assist” and adaptive cruise control functions. The system is enabled within a speed range of 0 to 60 km/h. Standard from Highline onwards.

The “Lane Assist” lane departure warning system issues visual, acoustic or physical warnings if the driver is about to leave the lane unintentionally and will also actively intervene with steering if necessary. Standard across the range.

16 From speeds of 15 km/h, the lane change assist “Side Assist” helps you out when changing lane. Two radar sensors in the rear scan the areas behind and next to the vehicle (blind spot) and the system then draws your attention to potential hazards. As a result, you can reduce the risk of accidents, particularly on roads with multiple lanes. Standard across the range.

17 Do you often over-pack? Not a problem for the new Tiguan Allspace. You can enjoy a load compartment volume of up to 1,775 litres. By folding up the third row of seats, you can expand the load compartment to around 700 litres (with 2nd row pushed forward). More boot space waiting to be filled with your spirit for adventure.

18 Unlock the doors as if by magic with your key in your pocket, open the boot lid holding full shopping bags by simply moving your foot under the rear of the car: keyless locking and starting system Keyless Access^2, Easy Open and Easy Close^3 revolutionise how you enter, exit and load the Tiguan Allspace.

19 Always informed, never distracted: the Head-up Display rises from its position behind the dashboard into the driver’s primary field of vision at the turn of a button. Driving information, including current speed and navigational details are transparently displayed helping to reduce the amount of time that the driver’s eyes are averted from the road.
