CAP The office of Child and Youth Protection is announcing CAP
(Child Assault Prevention) sessions. CAP is a safe environ-
ment training for adults who have regular contact with mi-
nors. Attendance is required in order to comply with the
USCCB’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Young
People. The policy of the Diocese of Camden is that adults
will attend CAP once every five years.

An independent, toll-free number has been established by the Diocese of Camden to help callers report cases of sexual abuse by priests, deacons, religious, employees ad /or volunteers. Calls are handled by a licensed clinical so-cial worker. In accord with state law, cases of child sexual abuse are reported to te NJ Division of child Protection and Permanency and law enforcement. Fr. Matt’s Go Away and Picnic
On, Sunday, June 12 we will celebrate a Go Away for Fr. Matt with the Mass at 11:30 and the Parish Pic-
nic following the mass in the Parking lot. All the parishioners are invited. There is a sign up sheet in the

Stewardship Compassion “And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”’ Luke 7:13
This verse is a great reminder that the Stewardship lifestyle is one of service, putting God first and to “love one
another.” Unfortunately, today, many people have “passion” for activities they enjoy—their job and off-work activities.
Many times our “passion” to excel is at the expense of someone else. We need to focus on a little less passion for our
individual concerns and a lot more compassion for others.
La Compasión
“Al verla, el Señor tuvuo compasión de ella, y le dijo: ‘No llores”’.
Este versículo es un gran recordatorio que el estilo de vida de la Corresponsabilidad es de servicio, poniendo a Dios en
primer lugar y “amándonos los unos a los otros.” Desafortunadamente hoy en día, muchas personas tienen “passion”
por las actividades que disfrutan—su trabajo y actividades realizadas en el tiempo libre. Muchas veces para que nuestra
“passion” se convierta en excelencia lo hacemos sacrificando a alguien más. A lo mejor necesitamos fijar más nuestra
atención en la compasión a otras personas y menos en nuestras preocupaciones individuales.
