THE POWER OF YOUR FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1-6
Without faith it is impossible for any man to please God,
because everything we do
for God and in His name are done by faith. You can't believe
that God exist without
faith. Therefore, if you don't believe in the existence of God,
you will not have
the urge or willing mind to render services to Him. And you
can't please God without
service, worship, sacrifices and faith. So, to inherit the
Kingdom of God demands for
a sacrificial, obedient and faith services unto Him while we are
alive on earth.
WHAT IS FAITH ?
Hebrews 11:1 says; Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not
seen.
A)Faith is the substance of hope. Hope alone is unseen. That is,
it is still in the
spiritual realm or can be said to be illusion. But when FAITH is
attached to Hope it
brings out the substance of that hope. Substance is something we
can see, touch or
feel. That means that faith brings whatever we hoped for, be it
in our heart,
thought, imagination, visional or dreamed from the spiritual
realm to the physical.(Hebrews 11:3. John 1:1-3, 14).
B)Faith is the evidence of things not seen. In the court of law;
evidence is prove or a
true witness. Who stands to authenticate a fact. Therefore,
faith stands as prove,
true witness or evidence we have to show the devil "Satan" that
we have the right
to obtain the answer of our prayers from God and it will be
done. When we pray, our
prayers is spiritual "that is unseen", but faith gives us
assurance that we will obtain
an answer. When our prayers get to God having the seal of our
faith, it moves God
to respond to the source of the prayer. When God responds to
your prayer, the
answer is given. That answer will be a physical result which
then can be seen. This
is why faith is the evidence of things not seen - (Hebrews
11:11-12). God made the
first promise to Abraham when he was 70 years old. He repeated
the promise again
when he was 99 years (Genesis 17:1 -5) and God fulfilled his
promise to Abraham at
his 100 years old. That is the power of faith. Things that are
impossible with man
are possible with God. Though, our hope and expectations may
tarry, yet, our faith
is the only evidence that assures us that the answer will surely
come.
What promise have you received from God? What are your
dreams,
visions or expectations in life? Have your expectations tarry
and now you feel
hopeless and down casted? Cheer up! There is still hope for you.
God has notforgotten you, it's just a matter of time and he will
respond to your prayers. Only
dont give up your faith. Remember that God's promise to Abraham
though, was
delayed, yet, He fulfilled his promise. Time will fail me to
talk about Hannah, Sarah,
Elizabeth and Manoah (Judges 13:1-24). These people through
faith obtained their
promises. In the mist of all impossibilities, things were made
possible through the
power of their faith. That same God is your God if only you can
trust Him and have
faith in his word.
