• “The Princess Bride"

1. Exposition: Buttercup and Westley fall in love.

2. Rising Action: Westley's ship is attacked by pirates and Buttercup is kidnapped.

3. Climax: Buttercup and Westley meet again and fight to escape Prince Humperdinck.

4. Falling Action: Inigo, Fezzik, and Westley break into the castle to stop Humperdinck.

5. Resolution: They all ride away and live happily ever after.

• “Arranged Marriage” (DSTv commercial)

1. Exposition: A girl's parents are arranging her marriage to a young man.

2. Rising Action: Problem -- she doesn't like him!

3. Climax: She discovers she can change him using her TV remote.

4. Falling Action: Solution -- she finds a husband she likes.

5. Resolution: She is happy.

• “Gecko Love Tragedy” (Shera Ceiling Board commercial)

1. Exposition: The two geckos are in love.

2. Rising Action: Problem: the ceiling cracks.

3. Climax: One gecko falls, and the other jumps after. They die. The men are upset.

4. Falling Action: Solution: new ceiling board appears, fixing the crack.

5. Resolution: Everything is OK.

• “Charlie Bit My Finger” (YouTube viral video)

1. Exposition: Charlie is a baby who likes to bite.

2. Rising Action: Problem -- Charlie bites his brother's finger.

3. Climax: "Ouch, Charlie! OUCH!"

4. Falling Action: Solution -- the boy takes his finger out of Charlie's mouth.

5. Resolution: Charlie is laughing. His brother tells their mother what happened.

• “Abiyoyo"

1. Exposition: Nobody likes the boy and his father.

2. Rising Action: The giant Abiyoyo appears.

3. Climax: The people must run for their lives.

4. Falling Action: The boy makes the giant dance and the father makes him disappear.

5. Resolution: The people are happy and they invite the boy & his father to come back.

• “Tailypo"

1. Exposition: The old man lives by himself in a house with lots of holes.

2. Rising Action: The creature Tailypo appears and the man cuts off his tail.

3. Climax: Tailypo comes back for his tail.

4. Falling Action: The old man tells him where to find it.

5. Resolution: Tailypo leaves and never comes back again.

• “1-Eye! 2-Eyes! 3-Eyes!"

1. Exposition: 2-Eyes is different from her sisters, 1-Eye and 3-Eyes.

2. Rising Action: They are always cruel to 2-Eyes and don’t give her enough to eat.

3. Climax: An old woman teaches 2-Eyes some magic spells, but her sisters punish her.

4. Falling Action: A knight appears and wants to see 2-Eyes.

5. Resolution: He takes 2-Eyes away to live happily ever after.
