What is the Triple Conscious Theory?
The theory explains the three personas associated with public, private and the social media persona. This three way persona creates a disconnection with physical and cyber realms.
– Public – The communities perception of you
– Private – Your family/friends perception of you
– Social Media – Social Media followers perception of you
Cyber Realm - Online Interaction
Physical Realm - Face to Face or Person to Person Interaction

Dinosaur Media
Broadcast television, newspapers and magazines.
Basically, those media outlets that are considered traditional but are being made obsolete by faster, more malleable technologies (blogs, podcasts, streaming content on mobile devices).
What Is Dark Social
Media? The conversations that people are having on your
social media feeds. Everyone pays attention to the
"fluff" which is number of likes, followers, links, etc.
But people can buy likes, followers, and links. Mental
Health providers need to pay attention to the DARK
SOCIAL MEDIA numbers which is related to
comments and posts on every meme or post added
to a site. These conversations can go deep, dark, and
get out of hand and most people from 45 on up have
no idea these conversations are happening.
