    little bigger than Earth’s moon!

    ● Mercury has 0 moons. :(

  • Venus● Venus is the 2nd closest planet to the Sun.

    ● Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system. Any

    spaceship that went here burned in 1 hour.

    ● Venus is very dry and rocky. It also has volcanoes.

    ● Venus has 0 moons. :(

    ● Venus has yellow, poisonous clouds. It is too hot to

    rain on Venus.

    ● Earth is the 3rd planet from the Sun.

    ● Earth is home to millions of different

    humans and animals.

    ● Earth has one moon named Luna.

    ● Earth is almost the same size as Venus.

  • Mars● Mars is the 4th planet from the Sun.

    ● Mars’ nickname is “The Red Planet.”

    ● Mars is dry and rocky. It has many dust

    storms.

    ● Mars is the 2nd smallest planet.

    ● Mars has two small moons named Phobos

    and Deimos.

  • Jupiter● Jupiter is the 5th planet from the Sun.

    ● Jupiter is the biggest planet.

    ● Jupiter is a “gas giant.” It is made out of swirling

    gases and liquids. Humans cannot live here.

    ● Jupiter has 79 moons!

    ● Jupiter is fast. 1 year on Jupiter= 11.8 years on Earth.

  • Saturn● Saturn is the 6th planet from the Sun.

    ● Saturn is the 2nd largest planet.

    ● Saturn is the “King of the Moons.” It has 82 moons-

    more than any other planet.

    ● Saturn has more than 30 big rings made from ice

    and rock.

    ● Saturn is a “gas giant.” Just like Jupiter, it is made

    up of gasses.
