Its always a good thing to focus on issuesthat really matter.

    Thank to the church leaders

Have you ever looked up atthe stars on

a clear, moonless nightand askedyourself, "Where did this universe/life

come from"? Did nature create life? Or

    did God create life?

    Creation may refer to:

    In philosophy

Creation ex nihilo, the concept that matter comes "from nothing. But the

classical philosophical formulation states: ex nihilo nihil fit, which means "Out

    of nothing comes nothing".

    In mythology

Creation myth, stories of the supernatural creation of the Earth and its

    inhabitants.

Describe that the cosmos from a state ofchaos or amorphousness.

    In Science

Life on Earth originated and then evolved from a universal common

    ancestorapproximately 3.7 billion years ago.

Charles Darwin was the first to formulate a scientific argument for the theory of

    evolution by means ofnatural selection.

The Big Bang theory: According to the Big Bang theory, the Universe was

once in an extremely hot and dense state which expanded rapidly.

According to that theory the age of the universe 13.7 billion years ago

Gen 1:1 Long ago, before the earth and all things in it, there was only God.

The Bible begins with these simple words: In the

beginning God created the heavens and the earth

From the very first verse we are faced with the

critical importance of the biblical doctrine of

creation. Among other things, that verse tells us

that the universe had a definite beginning, that God

and God alone is the Creator, and that everything in

the universe comes ultimately from him.

The doctrine of God as the Creator is central to all biblical

truth. Gen 1-11 tells us who God is, how and why he created theuniverse, and in what order he created everything. We also learn

about the creation of man as male and female made in his

image. It is no exaggeration to say that the events of Genesis 1-11

foundational to all Christian doctrine. Here we learn :

who God is, who man is, why he was created, what marriage is

meant to be, how sin entered the human race, the central

importance of the family in society, the origin of physicaldeath, and why a Redeemer for sin would eventually be

necessary. If Genesis is only myth, allegory or symbolic speech,

then the very foundation of our faith is destroyed.

    Created humanity from one man.

From one man he made every nation of men, thatthey should inhabit the whole earth . This speaks

of the common origin of the human racethat all

humanity is descended from Adam. First there wasAdam, then from Adams side came Eve, then came

their children, and eventually many generations

stretching from Eden to the 7 billion people onplanet earth today.

In Genesis 1:26 God said, Let us make man in our

own image. Then the next verse adds, Male and

female he created them. First there was God,

then Adam, then Eve, then all the rest of us down

    the line.

In Malachi 2:10 the prophet asks, Havewe not all

one Father? Did not one God create us? The

answer is yes, we have one Father and one God

    who created us all.

Acts 10: 34 Only One Racethe Human Race

Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not

    show favoritism.

The Christian gospel is fundamentally incompatible with racial prejudice. The Bible

teaches us four crucial facts we must never forget:

    1. All people are equally created in Gods image.2. All are deeply loved by God.

    3. All are stained and tainted by sin.

    4. All are able to be redeemed.

. He doesnt play favorites. Skin color doesnt matter to him. Race isnt an issue

with God. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight.

The Bible tells us plainly that the universe exists by Gods

command. He spoke and it came into being. The Bibleemphasizes this truth in a number of places:

Psalm 33:6 (KJV) By the word of the LORD the heavens were

made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Psalm 33:9 (KJV) For he spoke, and it was done; he

    commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalm 148:5 (KJV) For he commanded and they were

created.2 Peter 3:5 (KJV) For by the word of God the heavens were of

old, and the earth standing out of water and in water.

    EVOLUTION

    I

t is important that we understand what is meant by the termevolution. In this sermon it refers to the belief that all life onearth has developed from nonliving matter and has progressed

from simplicity to complexity over time. Tom Bethell offers asimple four-word definition: Evolution is the belief that all

organisms had parents.Scientists want to: Use Science to disprove the Bible

Reinterpret the Bible to harmonize with evolutionTime is the god of the evolutionists.

But we need to know:First, that the universe was created by the hand of God, just asthe Bible says; second, that evolution and Christianity arefundamentally incompatible.

Rev 4:11 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive

glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and byyour will they were created and have their being.

Rev14: 7 He said in a loud voice, Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who

made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs ofwater.

Heb. 11.3 By faith we understand that the universe was

formed at Gods command, so that which is seen was not madeout of what was visible.

Prov. 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning ofwisdom,

and knowledge of the Holy One is insight This touches on the

need for a truly Christian education. No one can know the universe

and the answers to the great questions of life without also

knowing God. There are three great questions of life:

Where did I come from? Why am I here?

    Where am I going?

The first question is the most fundamental. Until you answer it,

you cannot answer the last two properly. , if you believe that youarrived on the earth by chance as the result of blind evolutionover millions and billions of years, then truly you dont knowwhere you came from or why you are here or where you aregoing. Three words summarize the biblical teaching regardingwhere we come from: Created, not evolved.

People said: It is clear that the doctrine ofevolution is directly antagonistic to that ofCreation Evolution, if consistently accepted, makes it impossible to believe the Bible.

Christianity ismust be!totally committed to thespecial creation described in Genesis.

We are not some casual and meaningless productof evolution. Each of us is the result of a thoughtof God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary.

In the booktitled: In the Beginningch2,p20, The

Servant ofthe Lord Ellen G. White wrote:

    Here is clearly set forth the origin ofthe human race;

and the divine record is so plainly stated that there is no

occasion for erroneous conclusions. God created the

man in His own image. Here is no mystery. There is no

ground for the supposition that man was evolved by

slow degrees of development from the lower forms of

    animal orvegetable life.

Such teaching lowers the great work ofthe Creator to

the level of mans narrow, earthly conceptions.

Men are so intent upon excluding God from the

sovereignty ofthe universe that they degrade man and

defraud him ofthe dignity of his origin.
