Business: The Wedding Planner Magazine GTA

Editor and C.E.O.: Carmelina Karas

Tell us a bit about your business? A one-stop shop for brides, grooms, and wedding planners in the Greaterand wedding planners in the Greater Toronto Area who want to connect with local vendors to help plan their big day! We feature engagement stories, real weddings, tips, and advice on how to plan your wedding as well as start off a prosperous marriage.

What inspired you to start your business? I wanted to create a business that could help I wanted to create a business that could help local small businesses get connected with those who were planning weddings. I had heard from friends and family members that all the vendors seemed to be so far away and they had no idea where to start looking for companiesto help with their wedding day. It was then I decided to do some research on local I decided to do some research on local businesses and started a magazine as the media to connect those in need with those who provided a service.

How long have you lived in the area? I have lived in Markham, ON for almost 24 years.

WhatWhat’s your insider tip on a local hidden treasure or favourite spots? There are many amazing paths, trails, and ravines that I enjoy walking through, especially near Main Street Markham, where one can stand on a bridge overlooking a small swampland, watching new baby ducks learn to swim in the Springtime.

What job would you love to do if you never What job would you love to do if you never had to worry about money again? I love running a Wedding Magazine and that is my dream job!

The Wedding Planner Magazine GTA ~ www.facebook.com/WeddingPlanGTAwww.theweddingplannermagazine.webs.com ~ [email protected]

How do you spend your free time? I try and stay healthy and fit by working out and enjoy cooking and spending time with friends and family. People may be surprised to know that I…do not have my entire wedding planned out! I have no idea where I want to get married, what I will wear, the colours for the wedding, or any other details for that matter!or any other details for that matter!

Favourite Quote - 1 Corinthians 13:13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
