Double Bed: Bed which is big enough for two people

Twin Beds: Two single beds side by side

Four Poster Beds: : A bed which has four posts – one in each corner – and from which you can hang curtains or mosquito nets

Bunk Beds: Where there is one bed on top of the other

Blankets: Sheets made from wool to keep you warm

Duvet: A lightweight quilt

Pillows: A cotton casing with feathers inside to put your head on.

Chest of drawers: A piece of furniture with several drawers to put your things in

Wardrobe: It is a piece of furniture with doors where you can hang shirts, trousers, or skirts and dresses.

Clothes Hanger: A shaped piece of wood, plastic, or metal with a hook at the top, from which clothes may be hung.

Bedside Table: It is a small table next to the bed

Dressing Table: It is a small table that you sit in front of, with a mirror to see your reflection in when you do your hair or make-up
