The principle of operation lies in the cap, which passes through an electromagnetic field generated by an induction sealing head on a conveyor. The electromagnetic filed induces a high electric current in the foil of seal. This causes the foil in the seal to heat. A coating laminated to the aluminum disk fuses and softens to the mouth of the bottle.
