  6:45  a.m.    Busses  departs  HCMS

Approximately  7:00  a.m.  we  will  arrive  at  Manhattan  JHS

Upon  arrival,  students  and  parent  chaperones  should  report  directly  to  the  homeroom.

This  is  the  time  to  use  the  restroom  if  necessary.    The  instruments  should  be  assembled,  but  no  playing  should  be  done  in  the  homeroom.    (We  could  potentially  lower  our  ratings  by  breaking  this  rule!)    Parents,  please  help  remind  the  students.

We  will  need  parent  assistance  in  setting  up  our  warm-‐up  room.    In  previous  years  there  was  a  bit  of  difficulty  with  the  room;  the  room  was  not  set  up  when  we  arrived  and  we  barely  prepared  it  in  time  to  use  it.    Parents,  as  soon  as  you  can,  please  head  down  to  the  warm-‐up  room  so  that   just  as   the  band  preceding  us   leaves  the  room,  we  can  begin  setting  up.

7:15  a.m.  All  Players  (Woodwinds,  Brass,  &  Percussion)  Assemble  Instruments

We  must  be  extremely  careful  NOT  to  play  any  of  the  instruments.    This  is  an  infraction  of  IGSMA  and  can  lose  the  band  points oughtless  to  the  neighboring  bands.    Remember,  we  are  guests  in  this  school.

7:20  a.m.  Tiger  Band  Heads  to  the  Warm  Up  Room

Mrs.  Shoemaker  will  need  two  parents  to  head  to  the  performance  area  to  begin  setting  up  for  the  band.    (Please  make  sure  the  previous  band  has  completely  left  the  area.)    The  percussion  section  will  head  down  next  to  set  up  equipment  at  this  time  as  well.    After  setting  up,  the  percussionists  will  go  back  to  the  warm-‐up  room.
