SHOW GARDENS – Visiting both RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town is amust! Over one million spring bulbs are planted in the gardens. Bothcharge admission; RoozenGaarde tickets can-not be used at Tulip Town and vice versa. Petsare not allowed in the gardens.

WHEN do TULIPS BLOOM? – Skagit Valleytulips have been farmed here since the early1900s. Today the “field tulips” are the crops of theWashington Bulb Co., Inc. /RoozenGaarde. Thefield tulips bloom in April, but weather deter-mines exactly when. Check bloom status at

PARKING – Park FREE at the two gardens, RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town.Tulip Town parking is on Bradshaw Road. RoozenGaarde on Beaver MarshRd. Both have OVERFLOW lots on busy days; flaggers will direct you.RoozenGaarde also operates Official PAY parking by some of the tulipfields. Parking in designated lots is included with paid RoozenGaarde ad-

mission (show your ticket stub) OR your Offi-cial PAY lot ticket stub is good for ONEadmission to RoozenGaarde. Admission/park-ing must all occur on the same day. NOTE: toomuch rain may close lots by the fields.

Burlington ExitExit I-5 and head west on SR 20 toward Anacortes

Proceed west on SR 20 for 3 miles until you reach Best Rd/Farm To Market Rd; TurnLeft on Best Rd and proceed 1.7 miles until you reach McLean Rd.This will put you at the McLean Rd roundabout, in the center of the tulip growing area.There are numerous routes you can follow – consult the Festival map to decide.

Conway ExitExit off Interstate 5 and head west toward LaConner

Proceed approximately 0.1 mile. Enter the roundabout and turn onto Fir Island Rd andproceed west 5.1 miles where the road curves to the left and up an incline to a bridgeover the Skagit River. Cross the bridge and continue for 3.1 miles when you will ar-rive at the intersection of Best and Calhoun roads. You are now at the southern edgeof the tulip growing area. From here, use the Festival map to visit events and activ-ities, find your favorite field or visit the gardens, RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town.

Mount Vernon ExitExit off I-5 and head west for 0.1 mile

Turn right onto S Third St for 0.3 miles, then EITHER continue onto W. Division St for 0.5 miles (you will cross the Skagit River)Turn Left onto S Wall St; Wall St turns into McLean Rd in 249 feet; Continue onMcLean Rd for 2.5 miles. OR continue onto W Division St for 2.3 miles (you will cross the Skagit River)Turn Left onto Avon Allen Rd for 1.1 miles; Turn Right onto McLean Rd and proceed1 mile to Beaver Marsh Rd.At this point you can turn Left onto Beaver Marsh Rd and proceed 0.4 miles toRoozenGaarde. Or, you can proceed on for 1 mile and turn Right onto Bradshaw Rdand proceed 0.5 miles to Tulip Town.

The quickest route out of the tulip field area is SR 20Use the Festival map to locate where you are and proceed to SR 20 and

east to I-5. If you decide to leave via Fir Island Rd to the south, we suggest you con-sider using the following route from the intersection of Fir Island Rd and PioneerHighway: Enter the roundabout and turn onto Pioneer Highway and proceed south2.3 miles; Turn left onto Milltown Rd and proceed east 0.9 miles. This is the inter-section of I-5 and Exit 218. From here you can proceed north or south on I-5 to yourend destination.
