Some require ties attaching them to supports, but others will attach themselves to anysurface nearby. A few good choices are climbing roses, wisteria, jasmine, honeysuckle and clematis.

In a dark area, pre-soak your seeds overnight. Put some seeds (a small amount) in a container thatisn't too large for the plant you'll be growing. Fill that container with water, almost to the top. Thiswill hydrate the seeds and facilitate growth. The seeds will then have a greater chance at lasting andblossoming.

Make sure to fertilize your garden. Manure can be effective, though you should use products whichminimize pathogens. There are numerous types of fertilizers available. What type you select is less ofa concern; any kind of fertilizer is better than none.

Pouring the excess water from your dinner of steamed veggies on them can help. If you growrhododendrons, azaleas or gardenias, increase the acid in your your soil by working in coffee or teagrounds. If your garden has a fungus problem, a highly effective treatment method is to sprinkle itwith chamomile tea.
