 Soccer  Work Setting:  Local Sports Academy/Club  Specific Skills:  Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions; Nurture and develop athletes’ potential skills and abilities; Develop plan and co‐ordinate competitive schedules and programs; Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games; Identify, observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and performances, and review their past records; Coach the athletes utilizing training methods used in European soccer; Analyze and evaluate athletes’ or teams’ performances and modify training programs; Transfer knowledge and experience earned as a professional soccer player and coach to motivate and prepare youth teams for national and international competitive events; Discover soccer talents to improve chances of Canadian youth attaining professional level skill‐set; Participate in coaching clinic instruction and present material, content knowledge to peers.   Additional Skills:  Carry out management or administrative duties.  Security and Safety:  Criminal record check  Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:  20/20 vision; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods.  Work Site Environment:  Outdoors  Work Location Information:  Various locations  Essential Skills:  Communication, organizational and continuous learning  Other:
