To Use Blu-Ray, or Not Use Blu-Ray? USE IT!...if you can afford it. Blu-ray won the formatting war with HD DVD. Toshiba announced it would no longer make any devices that use HD DVD. (Toshiba was the greatest supporter of HD DVD) Blu-ray discs can also hold 6 times the amount of a double layer DVD and 12.5 times the amount of a single layer DVD. The only major downside is the large cost of a Blu-Ray player. Blu-ray are generally much more expensive than HD DVD players. (BUT YOU CAN JUST BUY A PS3! IT’S A WIN-WIN!) CONCLUSION: BUY A PS3. If you don’t like video games, then wait for Blu-ray prices to drop.
