TYAD Mission Service Requirements
▪ Small businesses to fabricate/repair both mechanical and
electrical components and subassemblies to support
weapons systems.
▪ Average 150 requests per year
▪ Typical single order quantities: 1 to 50
▪ Turn-around Time: < 30 days (depending on complexity)
▪ Quality Requirements:
– Workmanship per MIL-HDBK-454 guidelines
– Specific requirements as noted on the drawing(s).

▪ TYAD will provide, when
applicable– Critical dimension drawings
– 3D Computer Aided

– Sample of asset

￭ Capabilities: – Simple and complex machining – Welding and or Dip Brazing – Heat Treating – Corrosion resistance – Painting (to include Chemical
Agent Resistant Coating)
￭ Packaging:
– Packaged to prohibits physical damage to the item during shipment
– Finished (i.e. plated/painted) components protected to prohibit metal to metal contact
