Stewards Room In 1739, Earl FitzGerald commissioned Richard Castles, one of the pre-eminent architects of the day to design and build

Carton House. Here in the original Kitchen & Stewards room of Carton House. It still displays today the

original High kitchen ceilings, old cast-iron teapots & the large cooking stove.
