I took a fall at the beginning of November which resulted in me breaking 3 bones in my leg and currently wheelchair bound with a plaster cast up to my thigh. Hopefully next week I will be able to have a fibreglass cast fitted which will be below the knee and thus enable me to work! For those of you I had to cancel due to my accident and hospital stays, I will be contacting you shortly to put an appointment in the diary. I want to take this opportunity of saying how sorry I am to have let you down, what with missed appointments and cancelled tea nights but hopefully I will be up and run- ning in the very near future. I would also like to thank everyone who has emailed, called, visited, text and sent cards for all your kind thoughts and messages to get well. I was overwhelmed with the sym- pathy and your support so I thank you sincerely. Teela-Jane xxxxxxxx

Hi girls,

I’m sure all of you are now aware of my current predicament but just to recap. 5The MoveA couple of Saturdays ago a group of t-girls got together to help me with the move to the new premises. Not that I could do much except bark orders from my wheelchair. A van was hired and the whole day was spent transferring stuff from the Shed to the new shop and without any breakages I might add!!!

I would like to offer a huge thank you to the fol-lowing who gave up their Saturday and helped out:-

• Hubbie, Dave• Gayle• Diana• Lisa Karen• Kay Denise• Lucy• Annie• Susan• Niece, Charlie• Sister, Lynne

Dave and I will be holding a “curry” evening soon for those who helped out as a thank you.

The new place is workable for the moment but I do have lots of plans for the future, including building changing rooms, mirrored wall, cat-walk, beauty area, photography area and a retail shop. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Important notice to all who use the Trans-pose postal servicePlease note that as from January 23rd 2009 you can no longer have your orders and parcels sent to the old address. Please ensure that you make a note of the new address for all your correspond-ence and orders.

My third em-ployee who came over and worked

as the Trans-pose secretary

for the day was Diane. Part of the duties for the day was doing the labori-ous task of matching all the receipts to bank state-ments then inputting into the accounts. I am very grateful for all her hard work as this has saved me a huge amount of time. Here you can see Diane working her fingers to the bone.

”Polish your nails, check your makeup, dress for work - a great day to spend at Trans-pose. Concentrate on the tasks that you are given - this is your opportunity to be a secretary/receptionist for the day. Just relax into being your female other half for the day - highly recommended.” Diane~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wish ListHey, I know this is cheeky but if you don’t ask, you don’t get!!

For Transpose’s new premises there are a few bits and pieces I need so if any of you have any of the following going spare or know of anyone getting rid, please bear me in mind

StorageFor those of you who have your girly bits & pieces in storage please readIMPORTANT!!

It has become increas-ingly difficult to stack and store all your bags because of the differing shapes and sizes – stack-ing them is a particular problem as some of your things are in suitcases and some are in canvass bags. I am therefore planning to bring in some storage boxes instead. These boxes can all be stacked neatly on top of each other, thus taking up less space and I will be able to identify these more easily. Currently

I am using “bag tags” which I tie on the bags with plastic cable ties and inevitably the tags come off. I will be able to use a simple sticker on the new boxes which will make all our lives a lot easier. I propose bringing in the new boxes as soon as possible so if you would please call in at some point to change-over, it would be very much ap-preciated.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Fridge• Microwave• Divan Bed (no matress
- to be used in photo-graphs)
• Vacuum• Kitchen worktop 6’• PC monitor (for CCTV)• Answering machine
Many thanks!
Girl of the MonthIt gives me great pleas-ure to introduce you to Dawn Green. Dawn has been coming to Transpose since it very first opened when I only had a handful of outfits and wigs. We had a great day together and the results speak for themselves.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

SupercoverIf you have ever been un-successful in camouflag-ing the 5 0’clock shadow, there is new technology now available in the form of a blue neutralizer made by Supercover.

The old thick and heavy camouflage which had a tendency to crack af-ter a few hours has now been superseded. Read Lisa’s bit on her day as my model for the Supercover course, when we prac-tised the new techniques and if you are interested, the product can be pur-chased from Transpose for £20 or book yourself in for a no obligation try-out of the product.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The foundations are also fantastic - very natural looking coverage, water-proof and very light to wear. I use nothing else in my make-up service now!
SUPER MODELBy Lisa KarenQuite a while ago TJ had asked me to think about being her makeup model, for a course that she had recently booked on the Wirral. About 3 seconds later, I said that i’d like to give it a try. It was a weeks course, and I was free on the days TJ wanted a model. In the end I was only needed on the 3rd day, but what a great day it turned out to be!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There were 5 girls on the course in total, plus their 5 models. I was anxious to know what to wear on the day, and TJ had advised that they were all in jeans on the first day, so in the end I thought i’d be more comfortable in my combat trousers, ugg boots, and long top. I don’t think I had the chance to get nervous as we got there, as it was too late by then to back out. Once the morning got going, there was a display by the tutor, and I think I noticed one or 2 in the room looking over, but I was cool about it. TJ took my own make up off, and the look they were first going for was a glam/smokey eyes look, which I was very impressed with. By this time it had got to lunchtime, where they’d prepared a small buffet for us. It gave me the chance to mingle and chat with others.

One of the delegates asked me, ‘How did you get the job?’ I just said that I wasn’t press-ganged into it! It also gave me the chance to talk and explain to them about things-t. And, a few of them got quite interested. After lunch, the next challenge was to achieve an extreme catwalk model look. TJ had her own ideas on this (picture a drag queen version of Gene Simmons from KISS!), suffice to say that I’ll never be seen on Canal Street, or anywhere else, looking like that again! We later had a play around en-hancing a cleavage (well, mine in particular!) by shading, and that was really impressive. I was quite pleased with the end result. When that was finished I took the chance to have a walk around the sfudio to chat to the other stylists and models, who were by now quite friendly and chatty. Finally, TJ prepared me for an evening look, as I was going out later, and by the end of the night I was very impressed with how the foundation had lasted.

One final point about the makeup itself. For the last 2 years I’ve been using Grimas beard cover, and then MAC full cover foundation. The course tutor did explain to me that the Grimas product was about 10 years old, and that it was now old ‘technology’. After using his product all day, I can truly recommend and endorse the new foundation and beard cover, and i’ve got mine from Transpose already!

As there has been no tea evenings

for the past two months,

lets end the year with a party!!. It will be a “Wel-come to the new place” come “Christmas get to-gether” come “write on Teela’s cast” event. Tea will be at the new place from 7pm – doors open at 5 if you want to get changed. There is plenty of parking within feet of the front door and more down the side of the shops. Please ring me for directions if you are un-sure where it is.

So when is next tea? Well it WILL NOT BE ON MON-DAY, but the Tuesday 16th December. There will be the usual nibbles and I’ll lay on some bubbly. Dress up if you wish or just come as you are – it will be great to see you.

BrasI want to take a minute to talk about bras! Has this ever happened to you? Your fillets on show?

Well there is now a so-lution to this problem by way of a bra specifi-cally designed to pop your breast forms into. They have pockets a bit like a pillow case so your breast forms slot in nicely. The bras come in black or white and available in all sizes and cups. They are really quite pretty and sheer. The picture re-ally doesn’t do the bra justice!! It’s all lacy & pretty!

If you would like to order one, please let me know – cost £21.99.

The Grand SaleThe sale at the end of Oc-tober was a great success with many of you popping in and having a browse. Some of the platinum girls, stayed all day!!! Thanks to all of you for supporting Transpose and getting yourselves some bargains to boot!!!

As mentioned earlier, I will be having a sales rail permanently set up in my new premises so don’t forget us when you are planning to shop for a new outfit.

Every month I give you a tip or two

that might help you with your

make-up etc and it pleas-es me no end when you try them out. Ayla tried using a white eye liner to make the whites of her eyes stand out as featured in the October newsletter and it certainly works.

If you try out a Teela Tip and want your picture in the newsletter, send them through!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
