VOLUNTEERS
A BCPS volunteer is an individual with a sincere interest to
contribute to the education of BCPS students. Volunteers
actively serve during regular hours at one or more schools,
several hours at a special one-time activity or event, or work
on school projects at home.
You must reapply every school year to become a school
volunteer.
April was volunteer appreciation month for Broward County
and we want to recognize all of the many hours that our
Tropical Volunteers have given to our school, staff and
students. We love you!
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR PTA AND VOLUNTEERS! Thank you so very much to our incredible PTA and parent volunteers for making our first ever Tropical Trek Dance
Party a huge success. We all had so much fun and it was so great to see our students and staff really let go and enjoy
themselves. I was very impressed with all the great dancing, we have some future stars at Tropical!
During the year we have enjoyed recognizing all of our wonderful Kids of Character in grades Pre K – 5th grade. While all of our toucans did not win an award this year, we encourage them to always follow the kids of character traits all year and to remember that integrity is doing the right thing even though there is no one watching. We are very proud of all of our TOUCANS!
