reality with the SheetAdvisor. You will be able to design

With its special sheet metal functionalities, SheetAdvisor
helps you to create realistic and practical sheet metal designs
mini mizing rework and scrap. The system also makes it easier

Unfolds 3D data for production.
With TruTops Unfold you can produce 2D blanks in seconds
from 3D sheet metal designs and process them as a GEO file.
The file already contains the technology information needed
for production thanks to the stored reduction factors and
punching tool data. Even imprecise models are not a problem.
If the sheet metal thickness varies, for example, you simply
increase the tolerance parameters.
Before unfolding, the program selects the ideal tool combi-
nation and takes the resulting production radii into account.
Cut-outs such as corners, circles and notched triangles can
be included during the unfolding process. TruTops Unfold
even gen erates bumping bends for large radii quickly and
conveniently. An unfold log indicates possible problems
and ensures that everything runs smoothly.

You can draw 2D sheet metal designs quickly and easily in
TruTops CAD. This is ensured by an automatic comparison of
drawings and by dimensioning. Data for production is add-
ed during drawing: When defining the bending lines you utilize
the reduction values of TruTops Bend. Profiles are quickly
generated and automatically unfolded.
The “Variants” option enables you to instantly change draw-
ings with similar basic designs, but with varying dimensions.
Examples include doors and extractor hoods.
Image files and paper drawings can be vectorized in TruTops
CAD and processed as CAD files.

parts can be best arranged and processed on blanks or which
