Since the release of AFV Club’s1/48 F-5E this most attractivefighter has seen a resurgenceof interest in the type

especially in its role as an aggressoraircraft. Twobobs, of course, have beenthe number one manufacturer foraggressor schemes since their earliestdays. Well now we have six more sheetscovering nearly every scheme carried bythe F-5E in this role. Each is illustratedwith four-view colour profiles and theodd colour thumbnail photograph, whilea colour guide offers Testors, Xtracrylix,Gunze Sanyo, and Humbrol paints,though you may have to resort to somecolour mixing just like the real thing.

ConclusionMy club includes one member who hasmade a massive number of 1/48 F-5sover the years, based on the oldMonogram kit, and I am sure his buildschedule for the next year is now going tofeature at least a dozen more. For the lessdevoted these sheets would be a stunnerfor a club looking for a group display forTelford. .
