o further the wishes of those who dedicated their bodies to medical education, the department of the Tcu- Chi University pioneer a clinical skill training program based on un-embalmed bodies in 2000.

The director of the Medical Simulation Center, professor Guo-Fang Tseng, planned from scratch and together with faculties, especially Dr. Yeuh- Jan Wang, and staff of the anatomy department established the operation protocol and set up the quick freezing facility.

Together with the surgeons from the Hualien Tzu-Chi Medical Center, the team formulated and conducted the first basic clinical skill and surgery training program on May 26, 2002, to the second class of the medical students of the Tzu-Chi University a week before graduating. This marked the beginning of a new era of the medical education in Taiwan.

Medical Simulation Center has a laparoscopic training box practice program which AMSEP TCU will also particepate in.

Jiufen used to the center of gold mining. It is located within the hills in northeast of Taiwan. The village is next to the mountain and facing the sea.

Now, there are many unique teahouses in Jiufen. These teahouses are best stops during visit to this mountain village. Also, there is the beautiful ocean view of Keelung outer sea.
