Training Association IVETA and •AMKE International Oy / Finnish Association

for the Development of Vocational Education and Training AMKE


Finnish Association for the Development of Vocational Education and Training AMKE• AMKE – at the service of vocational education and training! AMKE

is a co-operation and networking body for VET providers in Finland• Vocational training for both youth and adults is united under the

auspices of AMKE. • AMKE gathers and thereby enhances the competence and

knowledge of VET providers. • AMKE is an esteemed partner and pioneer in developing and

renewing vocational education and training in Finland. • AMKE is also a dynamic co-operation and networking partner for

the international VET providers and stakeholders. Focus is set on the enhancement of professional competence both on individual and organizational level.

increasing internationalisation – increasing of mobility periods (students with 30 %, trainers with 20 % by 2015 compared to the situation in year 2011)

• Increasing of work-based learning, diverse learning environments, student wellfare and quality of training services – utilization of international learning opportunities in this context

• Development of the Finnish Qualification System and the Qualification requirements – valuing international experience, cooperation and competences.
