You like the finer things in life. The best wines. Perfectly tailored clothes. An impeccable home. So when it comes to your car, you want luxury, too. But you’re also aspiring to lead an eco-friendly lifestyle. How can you feel good about your carbon footprint driving around in a Maserati or Porsche? However, the alternative—today’s hybrids—aren’t exactly hot. To help reconcile your need for style and speed with your desire to protect the planet, we introduce the exquisite and truly remarkable Tesla.

Named after the electrical engineer and physicist Nikola Tesla, the American car company Tesla Motors designs, manufactures, and sells 100 percent electric cars. That’s right: Their cars are completely electric, with no tailpipe, no gas tank, and zero emissions. This is a trend-setting car that is more than comfortable in the company of those other luxury imports.

Tesla currently offers three models. The Model S is a sports car meets sedan electric car with three different-grade battery options (it can travel up to 300 miles per charge!). The Model X is an SUV style family car with “falcon-wing” doors that open up rather than out, allowing you to park in even the tightest of spots. Not to mention that the door-wings look amazingly cool and futuristic. The Model X even offers a third-row seat that is easy to step rather than crawl into. The larger Model X offers two battery-grade options, at different price points.

And finally, there’s Tesla’s ultimate sports car, the Roadster, the jewel inthe crown of any sports car enthusiast’s collection. Also in the works at Tesla is a “generation three” electric car. While the three models currently available come with higher-end price tags you’d expect from a cutting-edge luxury car, the newest model set to debut in several years will retail for less than $40,000, and could truly change the way Americans drive forever.

Sounds amazing, right? But just how does this super-hot car work? You can simply charge your Tesla in your garage every night so it’s ready to roll the next day, the perfect plan for the around-town driver as well as the commuter. Those taking a road trips in the Model S can take advantage of Tesla Superchargers, charging stations strategically built in 75 locations throughout North America. Half the battery can be charged in as little as 20 minutes, enough time for you to have lunch and then be on your way. (There are already five Tesla SuperCharger stations in Arizona alone; the number of stations is expected to grow significantly in the next few years.)

If you’re in the market for some hot new wheels, why not take the Tesla for a road test? Not only will it turn heads with its sleek design, but you’ll be doing a good turn for the environment. And did we mention it scored the highest safety rating in America in all categories? So go ahead and satisfy your need for speed … and feel good about doing it.

Jaime RenaeGilbert | [email protected] characteristics make you uniquely you?I am straight shooter. I feel that what you put out into this world, you get back. I am genuine. What you see is what you get. What are you looking for in a significant other?

The full package – Mind, Body, and Spirit. Someone that can challenge me intellectually, someone with a great heart, and a rockin’ body.Bio: I am an Arizona Native that grew up in Mesa. I have an older sister that is my best friend. We are pretty much inseparable. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, a Masters of Art in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, and am finishing up my Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I also have my Principal’s Certificate from Arizona. I am passionate about teaching and helping others. I am definitely a caretaker and was put on this earth to make a positive difference in children’s lives.

We’ve all heard that an increasing number of educat-ed, professional women are waiting longer to get married, allowing them more time to focus on estab-lishing their careers and professional goals. In fact, according to a 2013 New York Times article “The Disestablishment of Marriage,” almost a third of all women and more than 40 percent of all men today wait to marry until age 30 or older. That’s a lot of perfectly aged singles! These numbers stand in stark contrast with the fewer than 8 percent of women and only 13 percent of men who married for the first time at age 30 or older in 1960! The average age of first marriage today, according to the Times, is almost 27 for women and 29 for men.

Now stop and think about the single women you know. Ever noticed that some of the more ambitious, intelligent, professional women are also utterly and inexplicably unattached, even in their 30s and 40s? Turns out, many fantastic females have indeed focused on getting their careers and financial lives on the right track, and in the process have shelved their

personal and romantic goals for a bit later on. And that’s by choice. After all, when a man or a woman is driven to succeed in the workplace, nothing will get in the way of accomplishing that goal. Is there room for romance and relationships when you’re climbing the corporate ladder or establishing your own business? Not so much.

So for all you ambitious, successful single men out there, who better to understand your drive for perfection better than an ambitious, successful single woman? If you’re finally ready to make the time for your personal life, we’ve carefully selected five stand-out ladies who may just be your perfect match! These highly driven, passionate-about-their-profes-sion women have decided it’s high time to focus on finding a partner. Lucky you! Think you can keep up with these life-in-the-fast-lane ladies? Read on to learn more about their likes and dislikes, passions, and dreams and goals for the future. Buckle up, boys, this could be the ride of your life!
