Mosiac

Requirements• Students will create a mosaic picture

– can choose the material (but must be made with ONLY 1 material)– Paper is the most common

• Actual mosaics can be made, but must be preapproved by the teacher– this means before the project is started.– Tile or glass

• Must be at least 8 1/2 x 11 and be completely covered in the material you've chosen.

• Must be multicolored and be completely covered. – Consider the background color as the grout color between the pieces.

• Must be neat and fully dry when turned in.

• There is to be no drawing or coloring to add accent lines, should all be done in the material of choice.

• There should be no overlap on any of the pieces and the gap between pieces should be consistent and small.

• Pieces should probably be about the size of your fingertip.

• Will be graded on neatness and difficulty.
