RC-C1 Infrared Remote Control is an alternative solution for OLYMPUS digital camera, which developed by Snapshot Tech Studio. It can be used

to control more than 25 models of OLYMPUS camera and 100% compatible with the original Remote Control.

Camera setup for remote control photograph

1. Mount the camera on tripod and place it on a flat ground.

2. Press the button until the is displayed on the control panel.

3. Frame the photograph and aim the transmitter on the RC-C1 at the infrared receiver on the camera.

4. Press the shutter-released button on the Remote Control

• The self-time indicate light will blinking before the release of the shutter.

• In Bulb mode, press the W button and T button to open and close the shutter respectively (Not available for E1/E300).

Function Key Overview

1. Display the backward photo.

2. Zoom Out button. (Bulb mode start)

3. Shutter-release button (In the AF mode, AF will be active before the shutter is released.).

4. Zoom In button. (Bulb mode stop)

5. Display the forward photo.

Operating Distance

The operating distance of the remote control is about 10M from the front of the camera.
