Other Young Pioneer symbols are a triangular red necktie, a badge, a Pioneer salute and a motto: “To fight for the cause of the Com- munist Party of the soviet Union, be ready! The group is divided into “stars” of five or six children. Each “star” is headed by a Young Pioneer.
