Slide 2 Utilizing Frameworks at GeorgiaStandards.org Making the most of free resources for teachers http://www.facebook.com/GaDOE Slide 3 This lesson is designed to help you: To utilize free resources available at georgiastandards.org to develop lessons and activities. Learn how to access and navigate the Frameworks tab to develop lesson plans for classes of all grades. Save time! Slide 4 The Frameworks tab is designed to Support teachers in implementation of Georgia Standards. Assist with designing lessons based on standards for each subject and grade level. Clipart Microsoft Office Slide 5 Go to georgiastandards.org and click on the Frameworks tab Slide 6 Notice on the left side of the page, subjects are listed. Choose your subject area. Slide 7 I chose Science for this example. Under the subject, I can select the appropriate grade level. Slide 8 By choosing the (+) beside a grade level, you can reveal the materials available for your subject. Slide 9 From this point, you can choose the Curriculum Map, which will give you a year-long outline, or you can skip to a specific lesson. Slide 10 The Curriculum map gives grade appropriate lesson ideas that span a whole school year.
