PRESENT EMPLOYMENT

(February 2004- till date),Assistant professor;Department of Community Medicine,

Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh, India. It is extremely busy 1500 bed tertiary care

hospital with modern diagnostic and therapeutic avenues the medical collage consist of

150 student, for undergraduate and about 6 student for postgraduate training program

(M.D).in each batch.

Present job duties.

1. Taking lectures for teaching community medicine to under graduate and post

graduate students.

2. .Research work concern with planning , conduction and evaluation of prevention ,

diagnosis and treatment of diseases and various health problem in colorization with

national and international agencies.

3. Training and teaching nursing students and social workers in field of epidemiology of

4.I am in-charge of rural and urban health training program. I oversee and evaluate the

progress in academics and clinical and practical skill of junior resident /interns working

under my supervision.

5.I am also in charge of rural health training centre, which consists of primary health

centre. The center consists of OPD to take care of pregnant females and other

gynecological problems, chronic illness OPD for various diseases like hypertension ,

tuberculosis , diabetes etc. under- 5 OPD for children and immunization OPD.

6.I am actively involve in supervising and monitoring the health clinics, rural heath and

rural mobile clinics and health clinics of AMU. I am also actively involve in certain

program like polio eradication program, maternal and child health control program,

blindness control program, DOTS tuberculosis)Reproductive child health program,

camp surgeries for cataract , breast feeding week , etc

We have a very busy outpatient clinics with well-equipped laboratory, pharmacy with

minor operation Theatre.Where all the cases are handled and referred if required.

I am also involved immunization program(BCG,OPV,DPT,measles, vita A ) ,antenatal

counseling and school health program,

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT( Feb 2000 to march 2003)

As a post graduation in Community Medicine.

During mine residency program I work in Department of Community Medicine for 36

month(3 years). This was a post graduate training program led to the award of degree of

Doctor of medicine(M.D.) in Community Medicine.

It consists of rotation in different sub specialty unit like rural health training centre,

urban health training center, skin OPD,TB and chest OPD, maternal and child health

OPD.

INTERNSHIP (pre registration house officer) ( 1 year rotation post April1999to April 2000) in J.N.Medical Collage and hospital,

Aligarh.

I worked as a PRHO in medicine ,community medicine (public health), surgery,

orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology , A&E and pediatrics . During this period I

learned common bedside procedures like Clerking patient

Intravenous cannulation and blood sampling for routine investigations

Foleys catheterization

Dressing of wounds

Phlebotomy

First on call in 1:6 Rota

Counseling and consenting for surgical procedures.

1) Teaching

3 years of teaching experience to medical undergraduate student

while doing MD (Community Medicine).

Teaching experience as a Senior Resident in the Department of

Pharmacology since September 2003 to February 2004.

13 years teaching experience to medical undergraduate and

postgraduate while working as Assistant professor in the

Department of Community Medicine since February 2004 till

date (Theory classes, demonstration classes, clinical classes).
