FREIGHT COSTThere are four factors that affect the total price of our deliveries. Here is how it works: Firstly, all our servi-ces have a freight price, to which a fuel cost is also added. Other surcharges may then be added for delivery to specific places, for example, or for transporting danger-ous goods. The price is also affected by whether you choose to supplement your

chosen transport solution with value added services such as environmental freight, carrying help or extra driver. Fi-nally, there are fees that you can avoid by making sure that the information you supply is accurate and correctly stated. If you have any doubts, you are welco-me to contact our Customer Service.

There are occasions in a transport chain when ‘Other freight payer’ is a practical option. This applies, for example, when neither consignee nor consignor will be responsible for the freight. This option is often used in a transport chain by a party acting exclusively as the warehouser.

We provide the option of having a shipment collected from one of our terminals rather than our delivering it directly to the consignee. This is a popular choice with consignees who are often out and about, or who are often unavailable for some other reason. Notification is included in the service, and as soon as it is issued, the shipment is available for collection during normal working hours.

Through notification, you, the consignor, ensure that the consignee is at the delivery point at the time suggested for delivery. It is a simple way for both parties to minimise un-necessary costs in connection with deliveries.

This is how ‘Carrying help’ works: If the parcel weighs no more than 25 kg actual weight, and if it is possible for one person to handle on his/her own, we provide delivery from the vehicle into the building, shopping centre or similar. For goods loaded on pallets, we provide ‘Carrying help’ using a pallet truck.

We can, of course, take care of carrying your packages indoors. This means that we deliver past the consignee’s gate or door – usually farther onto the premises. Carrying help only applies to shipments containing parcels weighing max. 25 kg per parcel – and only for parcels that one person can carry alone or transport on a trolley without having to use stairs in any shape or form.

Our Insurance service provides you with excellent full-value insurance coverage. You can therefore feel fully confident, regardless of what type of goods you are sending or receiving. We also offer you the opportunity to take out separate insu-rance for goods worth up to SEK 1 million. Excess is naturally included, so the only thing you need to pay is a premium based on the value of the item(s) in question.
