Greenwich is a Royal Borough with over 500 years of royal history and home to a World Heritage Site and a host of iconic London landmarks and attractions, all with fabulous event spaces. The National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory Greenwich, Cutty Sark, The O2 and the Royal Arsenal Woolwich are just a few of the outstanding venues on offer.

Impress your guests by bringing them to Greenwich. It’s close to central London on the banks of the river Thames, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Delegates love that there is space to breathe. Inspire

your guests with a wonderful mix of old and new. The beautiful architecture of Christopher Wren’s Old Royal Naval College and Inigo Jones’ Queen’s House sits elegantly against the strikingly modern designs of The O2, Ravensbourne and Laban.

There’s a wonderful vibrancy to Greenwich. The area has a passion for creativity and a reputation for hosting amazing events. Whether it’s the beauty of Greenwich Park, the buzz at Greenwich Market, or a flight on London’s cable car, it’s an inspiring place to be.

Take time off in Greenwich to enjoy the culture at our museums, browse designer-maker stalls and independent shops and stand with one foot in each hemisphere at the Greenwich Meridian, Longitude 0°. Or you could try something a bit different, like a flight over the Thames on London’s only cable car or a walk across the roof of The O2.

Greenwich provides great opportunities for your event programming. Why not include a guided walk of this historic area, book a beer or wine tasting session, enjoy a round of golf or take a sightseeing trip on the river. Encourage your guests to enjoy life outside the confines of the meeting room and add a little sparkle to the agenda.

GREENWICH MARKET For more information or to book, please call 020 8305 5235

Greenwich Market is fondly regarded as one of London’s best covered markets. The market is open daily Tuesdays to Sundays and the space is available to hire for events and receptions on Monday daytimes and in the evenings.

The market has a cobbled stone floor and statuesque portico at one end and the lanes leading into the market are very quaint. It is a Royal Charter market, which was originally assigned to the Commissioners of Greenwich Hospital on the 19 December 1700 for 1,000 years.

The market is owned by Greenwich Hospital – the Royal Navy’s oldest charity – and provides charitable support to serving and retired personnel of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines and their dependants. Income for the market contributes to the charity.
