Victory Bible Institute (VBI) Information

Victory Bible Institute is a school designed to instruct students who adhere to biblical doctrines of the Christian faith how to grow spiritually and obtain a closer relationship with God. The emphasis of training at VBI is not on theology or academics, but rather on developing relationships with both God and man according to Biblical standards.

VBI is geared to flow with the current outpouring of the Holy Spirit with emphasis on teaching the pure Word of God. VBI blends academics with practical ministry, hands-on experience, and the development of quality relationships with both God and man according to Biblical standards. Through learning the scriptures and the voice of the Holy Spirit, VBI will help equip individuals to do the work God has called them to do.

It is a Bible School for Christians from various backgrounds who desire to study the Word of God and further develop their spiritual life and ministry. Laymen and ministers, as well as those who are planning to enter full-time ministry in some capacity, make up the student body of VBI.

VBI is not a seminary. It is a charismatic school of the Bible. Courses are designed to minister to Christians of all levels of spiritual maturity and development.

"You therefore, My son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also." (2 Timothy 2:1-2)

Victory Christian Center (VCC) is a church of believers dedicated to reaching the lost. Our supreme purpose is to demonstrate the love, acceptance and forgiveness of Jesus to people everywhere. One great objective motivates us -- win as many people as possible to the Lord -- and then lead them to an awareness of who they are in Christ.

To accomplish this, VCC focuses on a positive gospel message of personal salvation through love and compassion, active faith, financial provision, healing and divine health, wisdom and common sense, integrity and God's involvement in the concerns and needs of people.

VCC is interdenominational, serving the entire body of Christ. Every service at VCC includes an invitation to accept Christ as Savior and to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Our first service was held on Sunday July 9, 1989. Since then, we have seen many lives changed through the miracle working power of God.

AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER: A study of the rights and privileges of every born-again believer according to their Biblical, God-given inheritance through Jesus Christ.

BIBLE COVENANTS: A revealing study giving insight into the everlasting binding agreement between God and the believer through the shed blood of Jesus.

CHARACTER OF GOD: A course revealing the nature and heart of God and His relationship to His beloved children.

CHARACTER OF THE BELIEVER: Every believer needs to know that he can be as Jesus was on earth.

COUNSELING: The goal of this course is to discuss counseling as it relates to bringing the Word of God and the revelation of the Holy Spirit into an individual’s life enabling them to make right decisions as an act of their will in accordance with the will of God.

DETERMINING DIVINE DIRECTION: A course giving instruction on how to know and follow the will of God.

DIVINE HEALING: A study of the various methods and provisions given from God in order for man to receive divine healing today. Special instruction will be given on how to minister to the sick.

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: An introduction to the definition and operation of the fruit in the life of the recreated human spirit.

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: A course covering the diversities of gifts designed to give you complete understanding of the Spirit.

HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE: A practical course on how to organize a systematic study of the Scriptures for personal devotions, reference studies, and inspirational learning.

LAWS OF PROSPERITY: A revealing study that it is God's will to bless His people with prosperity, and he accomplishes this through His laws of prosperity as they are explained through the scriptures.

MARRIAGE & THE FAMILY: A revealing study that it is God’s desire for marriages to be full of love, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirit. His desire is for families to be a place of positive re-enforcement for His love.

MINISTRY OF HELPS: A detailed course covering the supportive ministry function in relation to the church organizational structure.

NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY I: A study of the historical, economical, political, and religious setting of the early Church with insight into studying and interpreting the 27 books of the New Testament (Matthew thru Acts).

NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY II: A study of the historical, economical, political, and religious setting of the early Church with insight into studying and interpreting the 27 books of the New Testament (Roman thru Revelation).

OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY I: A panoramic view of the historical background in the lives of the Old Testament characters. Attention will be given to the scope and analysis of the 39 books of the Old Testament. (Includes study of the Pentateuch).

OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY II: A panoramic view of the historical background in the lives of the Old Testament characters. Attention will be given to the scope and analysis of the 39 books of the Old Testament. (Includes accurate breakdown of different prophets, priests, kings and kingdoms of that time period).

OVERCOMING FAITH: This teaching emphasizes the Biblical principles of faith and shows how to increase your faith with daily application.

PRAISE, MUSIC, AND WORSHIP: A course on the principles of praise, music, and worship combining practical praise and worship techniques with the spiritual foundation of the scriptures.

PRINCIPLES OF PRAYER: A scriptural look at the various methods and types of prayer including praying according to God's Will, Ephesians prayers, and praying in the Spirit.

PROVERBS: An in-depth study of the book of Proverbs where the key verse is found in the first chapter: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." From this verse flows a study in contrasts where the believer gleans moral and ethical principles that bring success and prosperity in the dealings of life.

RIGHTEOUSNESS: An in-depth study covering the righteousness that we have been given through Jesus Christ.

SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY: A scriptural study of God's authority as it is exercised through spiritual leadership in church government.

SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP: This course discusses what leadership is, how leadership qualities can be developed, and how God desires His children to step forward as leaders.
