With the Video Intelligence backup camera, you can:

► Automatically pair the trailer backup camera with the in-cab receiver without manual intervention

► Give drivers a view of the back of their trailer when in reverse via the connected in-cab display, eliminating blind spots and reducing the likelihood of a collision

► Record rear-facing video when the Onboard Event Recording® (OER) is triggered to provide context to collisions and near misses

► Access your videos on demand to potentially exonerate your driver in the event of a collision

The auto-pairing functionality allows drivers to easily switch between trailers, automatically connecting the backup camera’s transmitter to an in-cab receiver. The trailer-mounted transmitter receives power the same way as the trailer’s anti-lock brakes (ABS).

The wireless trailer backup camera is part of the fully-integrated Video Intelligence solution, which also includes forward, side and rear-facing cameras, to give you 360 degrees of video data from your fleet.
