07/07/14: Orientation Programme by NSS Chief Programme Officer Dr.
Manoj Kamat.
12/07/14: Inauguration by Shri. V. M. Prabhudesai, Dy. Director of Youth
Affairs, Govt. of Goa. The chief guest urged the students to work for
society with a sense of selfless service and dedication.
15/08/14: on Independence Day around 50 Volunteers participated in
Margao Muncipal Council’s “Dustbin Distribution Task” with a motive to
keep the surrounding environment clean and healthy.
21/08/14: Sadbhavana Diwas was celebrated in the college. Inter-
religious prayer meeting was conducted by the students. 100 students
attended the program.

21/09/14: Vanamohatsav day was celebrated in. Mr. Digambar Kamat
was the Chief Guest. Several chikoo, mango, coconut and cashew nut
saplings were planted. All TY and SY volunteers attended & helped in
digging the pits for planting the saplings.
24/09/14: NSS DAY was celebrated onthe theme “Road Safety” as a part ofRoad Safety Week. The Resourcepersons for the programme wereAssistant Director, Transport, Mr.Sandeep Dessai, RTO Inspector Mr.Nickson Suwaris & Mr. Abhijeet Gauns.150 NSS volunteers participated

25/09/14: OLD Age Home Visit. Around 100 NSS volunteers visited
old age home located in margao city, spent productive time with
them and helped them by doing their work with love & care.
28/09/14: Campus Cleaning was undertaken under the directions
and supervision of NSS programme officers.
02/10/14: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by cleaning the college
campus. All the NSS volunteers collected & disposed it strategically.
28/10/14 – 03/11/14: The 7 days NSS Special Camp was held at
Shree Shantadurga Kunkallikarin Temple premises, Fatorpa Goa. 50
volunteers and 6 NSS Officers participated in the camp.

01/12/14: World Aids Day was observed and the around 80 NSS
volunteers participated in Aids Awareness Programme. The key Speaker
was Miss. Nazmin Shaikh, a Professional Counselor for NGO “Zindagi”.
10/12/14: Campus Cleaning of the college was undertaken by all NSS
volunteers.
08/01/15: National Youth Week was observed on the birth anniversary
of Swami Vivekananda on the theme “value based education & youth
development”. The Keynote Speaker was Mr. Sanjeev Sawardekar, Retd.
Principal of Dhempe Higher Secondary School, Panjim. The programme
was attended by 80 NSS volunteers.

Placement Cell. Activities includes:
Confidence Building Programme attended by 15 students.
Classes were conducted to develop the basic concepts and skills in
Mathematics and Financial Accounting among the students with poor
academic performance. These classes are being conducted on a weekly
basis.

Reconstituted as per new NAAC Guidelines in April 2014
Prepared the Annual Quality Assurance Reports(AQAR’s) of the last 5 years &
were submitted to NAAC in June followed by submission of Letter of Intent
As per NAAC Requirements SSR (Self Study Report) was prepared &
submitted to the NAAC office in December 2014.
The College is eagerly waiting for the NAAC peer team visit which is likely to
be scheduled in March 2015.

21/09/14: Vanamohatsav day was celebrated in our college campus.

collaboration with Banglanatak. Crafts form viz. Kaanta and Patachitra were
demonstrated by the Bengal craftsmen.
24th to 29th September 2014: 5 days Candle Making Certificate course was
conducted The Resource Person Mrs. Julekha Shaikh, demonstrated a variety
of candles using Wax & Gel.
September 2014: College Logo, Letter Head & Motto design entries were
invited.
