Description: Worked for TCC was a very pertinent and assiduous task. Daily work chore started off by jotting the worker entry details. The other routines included conducting induction meeting to the employees and discussing about the tasks to be carried out, monitoring all the machineries, instruments and tools for the working condition and operating correctness in accord with the checklist. Surveillance of the work area to check whether all the precautionary safety measures are being followed or not. Conducting and coordinating mock drills to overcome the emergency mishaps in the work area every 6 months.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Company: ELGI Equipments Ltd

Project: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment in foundry

Duration: 3 months

Aim: To determine the various possible hazard occurrences in the industrial area and check whether those fall under the permissible OSHA guidelines if not to provide the required corrective measures.

Description: Basically this project was oriented in abating the menace incidents from happening, based on the garnered history of hazard occurrence in the industry along with calculating the probability of future mishaps. The complete industrial demesne was surveyed after understanding about the accidents and further essential information and suggestions were composed from the employees to have wider lucency. With these data the perchance risks were presaged and the required suggestions for refinement of the industrial grounds were compiled into a report and submitted for further enhancements.

Project: Dust Control and Indoor Air Quality Management in an Educational Institution

Duration: 1 month

Aim: To increase the air quality by reducing the dust content in the campus environment.

Description: The main objective of the project was to improve the quality of atmosphere around the college campus. To achieve this, the dust in the atmosphere was measured using a high volume sampler over a period of time, by placing the HV sampler in various places inside the campus. Based on the measurements observed it was clear that the air pollution in the campus was more than the permissible values. Following which the necessary remedy methods were suggested and the management implemented the necessary changes in and around the campus in order to control the dust thus improving the air quality on the premises.
