Description Conservas Emperatriz is a canned seafood and canned vegetables producer company. We produce almost the 90% of

the products we sell in our new and modern facilities built up in 2006 and although it´s a family bussines, we

employee more than 70 people in our factory located in Autol where we set up the company more than 50 years ago.

We have two different producing areas: seafood, vegetables and ready meals, and we manufacture them in jars,

cans, tins or trays; though we are specialized in jars and trays.

Regarding to seafood, we produce tuna, white tuna, salmon, cod, sardines, white tuna belly, surimi, mackarel or

swordfish...

Regarding to vegetables, we produce cultivated and wild mushrooms, mushroom salads, peppers, artichokes,

asparagus, tomato, legumes, pickles...

All of them in brine, in olive oil, extra virgin olive oil, spices, sunflower oil and much more since we adapt to our

customers needs.

Organic products are also produced in our factory as well as MSC (sustainable fishery) ones and kosher.

Description Conservas Huerta de Tormantos is a family company founded in 1987 and placed in Tormantos (La Rioja), in the river Tirón basin. We are producer of canned vegetables, from the beginning we have never known our activity to be anything but sustainable. We follow the tradition, making the most of the horticultural practice of subsistence and respecting the natural environment created by previous generations. The production practises that we use are those of organic farming, meaning that we use crop rotation and take care of the land without using chemical herbicides or pesticides. This makes our crops low in production but extremely high in quality and tasty as well as healthy. we carry out the whole process of production, collection of raw materials and preparation of our tinned food, following the seasons and the natural rhythms of nature, once obtain the raw material, the next step is to transform these products using a traditional packaging method, a manual one. Therefore all our preserves are made by hand, avoiding the use of chemical products which can alter the taste of the contents. In this way we obtain natural products with their unique flavours and a guarantee of offering a healthy option. Our products are aimed at all business sectors, but due to their gastronomic characteristics the particular gourmet is the one who comes to our place of production to make their purchases. Other marketing channels are shops, delicatessen and traditional markets, and also in the menu of many top restaurants.

Currently Alvic consists of a company located in Autol (La Rioja) 1,500 m2 and a new facility in Agreda (Soria) 3,500 m2, altitude 1,000 m, which is beginning to manufacture and short / medium term more products are manufactured. The new facilities have enough to make enough products in many different formats and machinery. Also in these facilities have a wide range of slicing that our product range. We also tend to make products as customers request us, eg in France now a client we are doing a special sausage for him and that flexibility we have in the company many customers are interested.
