Visual Arts Application & Guidelines Deadline April 1, 2017 to Tamara Corsi at Appel Farm
• Visual Art Submissions can be either 2-D, 3-D or Photography. Graphic Design entries are welcome.• Please note on this form your artwork’s Medium (graphite, acrylic, pastel, mixed media, etc.).• Students, grades 7 - 12, are able to submit up to 3 (three) entries per student. • Labels to attach to each entry are enclosed. Please duplicate as necessary. • Mounting instructions are as follows: All 2-D pieces must be matted or front - mounted to a heavier
stock paper. Framed work is not preferable but will be accepted only if it is WIRED for hanging. Do not use glass on framed pieces. Plexi-glass only. Please let us know in advance the number of framed pieces you will be submitting so that we can provide easels. No wet work please.
• All artwork must be brought to Appel Farm, ready to be displayed, on Monday, April 17th between 2 and 5pm.
• All work must be suitable for public exhibition as a representative of the school. Public exhibition is at the discretion of Appel Farm Arts and Music Center.
Work submitted to the Salem County Teen Arts Festival will remain on display for the Teen Arts Showcase on Sunday, April 23rd from 12 - 4pm.
Work should be picked up on Sunday, April 23rd between 4 and 5pm or Monday, April 24th between 2 and 5pm.
